The Tech Bridge Project

The Tech Bridge Project empowers underserved youth through hands-on STEM and robotics education that ignites curiosity, builds confidence, and creates pathways to opportunity!

At just 14 years old, Ty set out to do something most people wait years to consider: he decided to create change in his community.  Through his involvement in robotics, Ty discovered a passion for building, problem-solving, and innovation. He experienced firsthand how engaging and empowering STEM education can be. But as he grew in his skills and confidence, he began to notice something that didn't sit right with him: not all kids had access to the same opportunities.

Many children, especially those experiencing hardship or homelessness, rarely have exposure to hands-on STEM learning. While some students are encouraged to explore robotics, engineering, and technology, others are simply trying to get through each day without those experiences. Ty realized that curiosity and potential exist in every child; while opportunity does not.

Instead of waiting for someone else to solve that problem,  Ty decided to take action. 

He began reaching out to local organizations and formed a partnership with a community program serving underserved youth. What started as a simple idea quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Ty began teaching weekly hands-on STEM and robotics lessons, bringing engaging, creative learning experiences directly to kids who needed them most. Through activities like building simple robots, engineering challenges, and interactive experiments, Ty created a space where students could explore, ask questions, and discover their abilities. For many of these kids, it was their first time seeing themselves as builders, creators, and problem-solvers.

What makes Ty's work especially impactful is his ability to connect. As a young leader himself, he meets students where they are; with energy, encouragement, and genuine excitement. He understands how to make learning feel fun, approachable, and empowering. Through these experiences, Ty saw something powerful: when given the opportunity, kids don't just learn, they light up. They gain confidence, they begin to imagine new possibilities for their future.

That realization became the foundation for The Tech Bridge Project.

Founded by Ty, the organization was created to bridge the gap between curiosity and opportunity; bringing hands-on STEM and robotics education directly to underserved youth. It is built on the belief that every child deserves the chance to explore, create, and dream.

Today, The Tech Bridges Project continues to grow, reaching more students and expanding its impact. But at its heart, the mission remains the same as the day it began: To Ignite curiosity, build confidence, and create pathways to opportunity, one student at a time.
